New Music: BLKCITY - 'Flying'

Auckland-based collective BLKCITY are back at it again with their new single Flying.

Featuring artists Raiza Biza, JessB, Mo Muse, Abdul Kay and Blaze The Emperor, the new track is accompanied by stellar visuals and a whole lotta energy.

Following the success of Funds Pt. II, the second collaborative single from BLKCITY brings with it a ‘Night At The Museum meets Shutter Island’ vibe, complete with this tense, horror-themed music video. Watch the full thing below.

Directed and Edited by Connor Pritchard, with the help of James Moore and Stephen Taylor on DOP and focus-pulling duties respectively, and assistance from Aaron Wakely. With masterful colouring by David McLaren (Hunt for the Wilderpeople), Flying is a piece of film that announces BLKCITY as one of the most exciting NZ Hip Hop collaborations in recent memory—and this talented group is just getting started.
